There is a $60 annual registration fee that is non-refundable. A registration fee is payable once per academic year per student. The academic year is from September 1 to August 31. (Students enrolled in private and group lessons are registered for the entire year and will be billed automatically.)
We know your time is valuable, and ours is too. Out of respect for our staff and other clients, we ask that you give us at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel your lesson. Any cancellation or reschedule made within 24 hours of your lesson will result in a cancellation fee. The fee amount is equal to the full lesson amount. There are no exceptions made for this policy under any circumstances.Last minute or same-day cancellations will NOT receive a makeup lesson. Cancelling on such short notice will leave your instructor without a student during that time. Thank you for understanding.
Up to three makeup lessons per year can be scheduled for student absences, depending on the enrollment date. If a student cancels a makeup lesson, it cannot be rescheduled. For teacher absences, students receive personal notification from the teacher and the lesson will be rescheduled.In the case of prolonged illness (accompanied by a doctor’s letter) or move of residency, refunds are pro-rated as stated: A full refund before the first scheduled class/lesson, 50% of tuition before the fourth scheduled class/lesson, and no refunds will be given before the eighth scheduled class/lesson. (Please note the $60.00 registration fee is not eligible for a refund.)
We will wait for 10 minutes for you to sign onto your lesson. After that, your lesson will be forfeited.
All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to the program director at email@example.com. Full tuition will be refunded if a student withdraws more than 24 hours before the first lesson.
Empire Performing Arts Academy personnel are authorized to take photographs and videos of the students to use in brochures, websites, posters, advertisements, and other promotional materials.
Email is the primary mode of communication. Please be sure to list your current email address on the registration form.
